About Evan Sachs....
Mr. Sachs has a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from UCLA, and a teaching credential
in music from CSU at Dominguez Hills. He is a protegee of the renowned jazz master Harry Fields. He performed for ten years at the Century Plaza Hotel, and toured as solo pianist
for Princess Cruises. He was an instructor for over a decade at the acclaimed Eubanks Conservatory of Music teaching piano, theory, and harmony. Evan has an exceptional gift of communication and inspiration with students. Mr. Sachs has 35 plus years experience and
is an expert in the field of teaching piano to special needs children.
Mr. Sachs began
his training in Classical repertoire and technic with concert pianist Mona Golabek, world renowned pianist-teacher Earle
Voorheise, and California Institute of the Arts Professor Howard Richman. Mr. Sachs extensively
studied improvisation and Jazz Styles with world renowned jazz recording artist Harry Fields for many years.
He has worked for Roger Cooke, (writer of country western #1 hits as studio pianist)
and is booked by Castle Enterprises and Visual Arts Group in Los Angeles in various venues for piano and vocal work.
Mr. Sachs has worked for many singers accompanying them in shows and auditions.
